One of my favorite, healthy dinners is this Warm Beef Salad.

We often whip up a quick warm beef salad for dinner and pack extras for lunch the next day. It’s easy, it’s delicious and it keeps us well nourished.

A favourite in our house is this warm beef salad.
We often alter it depending on what we have left in the fridge and the pantry, but the basis of it looks a little something like this.

You’ll need:

  • Beef (we like to use sirloin steaks and slice it once it’s cooked. But beef strips will work just as well)
  • Baby spinach, Rocket, or some form of greens. Aim for a minimum of 1 cup per serve, don’t be stingy here.
  • Cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
  • Cucumber, sliced
  • Avocado, sliced
  • Alfalfa sprouts
  • Red onion, sliced thinly
  • Balsamic Vinegar – look for one without any artificial colours and preservatives or to go even healthier, use apple cider vinegar.

Making this is pretty standard – cook the beef to your liking, pop it all in a bowl and drizzle over the vinegar of choice.
If you’re an olive fan, add in some sliced olives. If you like a bit of crunch, add in some seeds, sunflower seeds are a beautiful addition.
This meal is naturally gluten free and dairy free.

  • I stick to a Ketogenic diet and this falls nicely into that form of eating. Just another twist putting together some alternative ingredients. Thanks have printed it off and will certainly use it. Stay safe and healthy!!!
